Ashley Jacobson
Ashley Jacobson is a 10-year Army veteran who spent the majority of her military career at Fort Bragg, NC. After concluding her career in 2019, Ashley decided to make a career of her lifelong passion in Dog Training!
Ashley had volunteered for nearly a decade with local animal rescues and foster programs training adoptable dogs for their future forever homes! She spent much of her free time training rescue dogs as well as her personal dogs!
After separating from the military, Ashley decided to become a professional dog trainer by first attending the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers. Once she completed the Starmark Program, she decided to start the Airborne K9 Dog Training and Behavior Center!
Ashley has dedicated her life to improving the lives of every dog that comes through our doors. She is constantly focused on improving her own dog training education, as well as the eduction of the Airborne K9 Training Department, so that they can pass that knowledge onto our clients!
Ashley and her personal dogs have earned countless titles in Obedience, Rally Obedience, Tracking, Trick Titles, Herding, IGP, French Ring, Conformation, Dock Diving and others. Her newest endeavor is getting involved in the highly competitive Protection Sports Association.
Ashley continues to learn more about all aspects of dog training everyday, attends seminars, classes, and works with some of the most notable trainers in the country to be able to pass on the most effective and proven training to her clients.
Ashley earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Cochise College, a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Massachusestts, Amherst, and a Master's Degree from the American Military University.
Benny Nyreen
Benny's heart has been in dogs from a young age. Growing up with two dogs with severe behavior concerns, he knew life with dogs could be much more harmonious if only he knew how to work with them.
At seventeen he knew he wanted to work with animals and decided to get his first job at a small chain pet store. During the course of this job he fell in love with trick training and got introduced to the world of dog sports, changing his life forever.
Benny knew he wanted to help people experience the joy of a well trained dog, rehabilitate behavior cases and achieve great things with his personal dogs. Bennys dream became becoming a full time dog trainer, leading him to pack up and move from Michigan to North Carolina for a 6 month professional dog trainer course at Tarheel Canine. Here, Benny worked with a variety of pet dogs, sport dogs and police k9s. His enthusiasm and hunt for more knowledge has only grown from here.
Benny has a passion for many different avenues within dog training and strives to learn something new from every dog he works with.
Kayla Fox
Canine Training and Behavior Specialist
Hello! My name is Kayla Fox, and I am a Professional Canine Training and Behavior Specialist certified through the Starmark Academy in Hutto, Texas. I am passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong, lasting relationships founded on trust, respect, and clear communication.
I believe that successful training begins with understanding. By helping owners better interpret their dog's behavior, body language, and individual needs, I empower them to communicate more effectively and create a partnership that benefits both ends of the leash. My goal is to provide practical, effective training that not only improves obedience but also builds confidence in both dogs and their families.
To me, dog training is about far more than teaching commands—it's about strengthening the bond between dogs and the people who love them. Every dog is unique, and I enjoy developing training plans that help each team reach their full potential while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding.
Because the science of dog training is constantly evolving, I am committed to continuing my education and staying current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices.

Limited apprenticeship positions are available upon request. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of canine learning and training, as well we the professionalism and dedication to learning and developing skills required for this position.
