About the event
The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test is a 10-Skill Test that teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners.
CGC is open to all dogs–purebred and mixed breed. There are no age minimums or limits for participating in the Canine Good Citizen program, because yes, you can always teach an old dog new tricks!
The AKC Canine Good Citizenâ„¢ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society.
The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical, functional behaviors that every dog should have to be welcomed in the community.
